We want to use these props to emphasise the conventions of the thriller/ crime genre.

These were our initial ideas, however we came to the conclusion that it would be difficult to be able to use the guns and the balaclava's in our opening sequence as it goes against our health and safety regulations and the gun's especially would pose a diffuculty in public, as members of the public could easily become confused and mistake the toy guns for real ones. 

In the end we decided to only use the two duffle bags as props.

Storyboarding!

In our lesson today we sat down and talked about the ideas which we have. We agreed on a couple of main ideas considering our decided location which is a car park nearby and therefore we thought we were ready to start creating our storyborad!

Planning

In our second meeting we worked together to create a rough ideas of what our film is going to look like. We went over ideas concerning particular camera shots, props, location etc. We probably won't end up using all of our ideas as we intend to but we believe that creating a storyboard and mind map before filming is really going to help us to get a very rough idea of HOW we are going to film and HOW we are going to organise to film our opening sequence.

Project Development

In our first meeting we worked together to create a rough storyboard of what our film is going to look like as well as a mind map which we used to go over ideas concerning shots,props etc. In the end,we didn't end up using all of our ideas as we intended to but we believe that creating a storyboard and mind map before filming helped us to get a rough idea of what we wanted to do.

Initial Ideas

Today we met up at lunch and talked about whether what our opening sequence would be like. We only had a couple ideas which to us looked good but we still weren't sure whether we should proceed with this idea therefore we are going to give each other some time to think about this because we want our opening sequence to be good.
